Morocco, a colorful desert, surrounding by the Atlantic ocean and the Meddtrian Sea as well. The Moroccan markets are so colorful due to the variety of spices.
Foot shapes on the hot sand of the dunes in the early morning in Sahara desert just before sunset. Narrow alleys, old cites, great food and more, morocco offers great landscapes next to an awesome flavors

This is my second visit to Morocco, my last visit was a years ago before Moroccobecame so touristic, in this visit ill spend 11 days in the country. And ill split my time in that way –

Casablanca – 2 nights

Fez -2 nights

Erfoud – 1 night

Ouarzazate – 1 night

Marrakech – 3 nights

Afourer -1 night

It’s really important to remember that morocco is so big and 1 visit isn’t enough for a good visit, but at this time you can get a bit of a sense about the country.

Important to know –

  • Bakshish – from the airport to restaurants and every help or procedure.
  • 1$ – 10 dirham
  • A local sim – the price is around 10$ for a package, 5GB with domestic calls or 10 GB

Casablanca

What to do in Casablanca?
  • Hasan the second mosque – the highest minaret in the world, it’s almost impossible to miss this mosque if you visit Casablanca, I recommend to go inside the mosque it’s magnificent. The entrance fee is 130 Dirham, the site is pretty crowded at noon its better to come in the early morning.

Ouarzazate

Ouarzazate is the area of the “1000 kasbahs” this area is a must in the trip to understand a bit about the culture. You will see there a lot of mud houses that still serve the people, not just a memory from the fast. If you have time I recommend to be there at least 2 nights and explore the area.

  • Atlas Corporation Studios – Hollywood of morocco, in this area they also filmed the movie Prince of Persia, if to be honest I was been there on my first visit while they filmed!
